Halloween 2017

We had a slow start to Halloween this year. We missed one of the best pumpkin patch festivals out here in AZ, we ended up getting only the kids pumpkins to carve this year and we decorated the house the day before Halloween. Everything turned out fine still. The kids got their pumpkin carving in once they got home from school while the danced to Halloween music and ate apples in caramel dip. I cooked up some mummy dogs and mac n cheese for dinner while Josh finished up some last minute Halloween decorations.

An interesting thing we learned about AZ or maybe its just our neighborhood but everyone seems to hang out on their porches or driveway to hand out candy which is kinda fun. Some people go all out and have a fire pit (even though its still warm here) or one house had their huge flat screen tv outside with tons of people and chairs all hanging out. So its a fun vibe in our neighborhood and luckily we have amazing weather so its nice hanging outside for the night.
